7 card stud Hi/Lo is very similar to the 7 card stud the only difference is that the pot is split between two hands, the highest and the lowest.
Before the game begins all the players have to post an ante, this is done so that there is something in the pot to start
with. Now all the players at the table receive three cards each, two face down (hole cards) and one face up (door card),
the first betting round can start now. After all the betting has finished the players that are left will each receive
a second card, face up. The second betting round can commence. This will repeat itself until everyone has a total
of seven cards, including the two hole cards. When this point in the game has been reached the showdown will take place.

Opening bet: the player with the lowest value face up card has to
start the betting. If two or more players have the same low card then the cards are put into alphabetical order, (Clubs,
Diamonds, Hearts and Spades).
Third street: after everyone has their three hole cards, two face
down and one face up the first betting round can commence, this is called third street. The player with the lowest valued
card will start the first betting round.
Fourth street: this is the term user for the second betting round.
Everyone is dealt another card, face up and the person with the highest two cards will start this betting round.
Fifth street: this is the term used to describe the third betting
round, everyone is yet again dealt another card, face up and the person with the best combination will start.
Sixth street: this is the term used to describe the fourth betting
round. Yet again everyone receives an extra face up card and the person with the best combination will start.
Seventh street/River: this is the term used for the final round,
everyone is dealt a final card, face down. The person how opened the betting on sixth street will start again.
Showdown: the last betting round will have taken place now and it
will be time to find out who the winner is of the hand. All remaining players have to show their cards to the each other.
The pot is divided and given to the highest and the lowest hands.
