The Irish Open Poker festival continues to be in the Irish Poker news and although qualifying tournaments have been going on for some time it is still not too late to win a seat by qualifying at Paddy Power Poker. The 2012 tournament itself which will be covered in the Irish poker news does not start until April 6th and runs until the 9th at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin and has a $3200 buy in plus $300 registration and will almost be attended by the top names in the game of poker but you can be there and by qualifying in one of the special tournaments run every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with various buy in amounts from €25 to €200 and not only can you win a place at the tables worth the $3200 but it can also be part of a package of accommodation and spending money worth €4600. These qualifiers continue to run until April 4th so there is still plenty of time. As was the case last year as reported in the Irish poker news, by qualifying through Paddy Power poker you are also entered into the €100,000 sole survivor and all you have to do is beat all other qualifiers and this is in addition to any prize money you may pick up in the tournament itself. In last years tournament the winner outlasted 160 other online qualifiers to pick up the prize but in doing so also won the Irish Open itself worth a cool €550,000 so if it can happen once it can happen again. This €100,000 package takes the form of entry fees into tournaments plus some expenses that will keep you playing poker for a good while. This tournament will be in the Irish poker news for a few months yet but the sooner you start the more chances you have a getting your hands on one of these fabulous prizes.
